About the artist

I am a photographic artist residing in the South Wales area. I have recently completed a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PcET) and before that I graduated in an MA Arts Practice (Fine Art) at The University Of South Wales.

My personal work focuses on ideologies that involve the family, memory and experience. Overtime my work has developed into an understanding of my experiences as a Mother and the overlooked.

I am also an artist who pursues commissioned work for health care settings. My work promotes positive health and well being for both patients and staff as well as enhancing spaces. I have worked with staff and patients to influence my working progress and research. This continues to be an ongoing engagement.

Previously I have worked as a Culture Guide volunteer, supporting other creative individuals who are restricted by their physical disability. Through this I have enabled them to progress in their creativity, enabling independence.

I am also involved in a community arts project, ‘A Shared Walk’ whereby I collaborate with other artists who specialise in a variety of mediums.
